ARCA Staff Complete Bike Challenge for Charity Week

Team covers 480 miles in under 24 hours

The ARCA team started their challenge on Monday, leaving Glasgow at 9am, and after three working days on an exercise bike in the office, that is nearly 24 hours, they reached Rayleigh.

There was some testing and painful times, but a great team spirit from all – Steve, Satish, Nicci, Isabelle, Giulia, Lucy, Sarah, Colin and Geoff.

Congratulations to all the team for their fantastic effort to support the ARCA Charities, Mesothelioma UK and the Indee Rose Trust.

The ARCA team appreciated all your support

ARCA Staff two days into Bike Challenge!

To support the ARCA Charity Week some of the staff at Burton aim to cover the 480 miles, the distance between its furthest training facilities in Glasgow and Rayleigh, on an exercise bike in the office.

After a day of cycling on Monday the team began again at 9am yesterday!

At the end of the first day the team had covered over 155 miles. This excellent start found the team over the Scottish border and into the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

After putting in another good day, covering over 160 miles, they are near Lincoln.

The challenge continues as there is still a way to go!

You can follow the team’s progress at

All donations to support the team’s efforts are much appreciated
